On 27 July 2025 our volunteer team joined the Sing Fai meal distribution, bringing 100 care packages of good wishes and everyday health items into the neighbourhood for a full and warm-hearted day.
The atmosphere was lively from the start, with elderly residents and neighbours waiting well before we began. Our volunteers were sharp, split the work between them, and handed each carefully prepared package of essentials to every person who came.
Beyond the supplies, the volunteers spent time greeting people, chatting and joking. There was laughter everywhere, and the warmth in the room went straight to the top. Seeing the kind smiles on the elderly residents' faces as they took their packages, and hearing their thanks, made all the lifting and carrying feel worthwhile.
Our sincere thanks to Sing Fai Restaurant for their full support, the use of their space and their willing help, and our respect to every volunteer who gave their time to bring some warmth into this community. We'll keep going. ❤🍱
