No let-up. On 10 January 2026, after how well Tin Yuet Estate went, our volunteers headed to Tin Ching Estate to run registration ahead of the distribution set for 18 January, so that every package would reach exactly the right person.
The team arrived and got straight to it โ registration desk up, forms laid out, queue organised โ with the coordination of people who have done this several times now.
Word that LucaBridge had made the trip brought the residents out in force, and a queue formed early. Our volunteers were on excellent form, working through each elderly resident's registration carefully. They did rather more than paperwork too, rubbing a few shoulders and chatting while they went: "It's cold out โ put another layer on. Get registered, and come down on the 18th for your package."
Watching residents finish up in good spirits with that reassured look, and hearing "thank you for coming all this way to sign us up, you young ones have worked hard", took the chill out of mid-January entirely. Sweaty and sore as everyone was, the team was flying.
Our sincere thanks to the coordinating team at Tin Ching Estate for their strong support and excellent cooperation, and our warmest respect to every LucaBridge volunteer who keeps showing up and doing this properly.
Groundwork done. Next stop, the 18th. ๐ฅ๐๐๐โจ
