On 18 January our volunteers went to Tin Ching Estate for another round of community outreach, distributing 350 care packages of practical household supplies.
As well as the distribution point itself, the team made arrangements for the residents whose health kept them at home. Volunteers split into several small groups and took 50 of the packages upstairs, delivering them to residents with limited mobility in person.
Going door to door, the teams handed over the supplies and stayed to talk, asking patiently about people's health and how they were managing day to day, so that the help reached exactly where it was needed and actually answered what people were struggling with.
Our thanks to every LucaBridge volunteer who worked the stairs all day without complaint. We will keep doing this kind of grounded community work and reaching more households that need it. 🌱✨
