Getting the groundwork right. On 15 November 2025 our volunteer team headed into Tin Shui Wai, to Tin Yan Estate, to begin registration for the distribution to come.
This was more than an administrative exercise — it was our first proper contact with the residents of Tin Yan Estate. A large group of elderly residents and neighbours were queuing to ask questions well before we started. Our volunteers arrived in uniform and got straight to it: setting up the registration desk, keeping the queue orderly, preparing forms, all of it running smoothly.
Faced with a long line of elderly residents, the volunteers gave it every ounce of patience they had. Some residents could not see well or were not comfortable with forms, so the volunteers crouched down beside them, took their hands and worked through the details line by line, then explained exactly when and where the packages could be collected. "No rush at all, take your time, I'll fill it in for you. Look after yourself — we'll be back with your package before you know it."
That kind of reassurance carried across Tin Yan Estate all day. Residents watched volunteers work themselves into a sweat and still stay patient and attentive, and the trust in their faces said everything.
Our sincere thanks to everyone at Tin Yan Estate for their full support and for hosting us so well, and full credit to the LucaBridge volunteers who gave their time and looked after every resident properly.
Because you got the front end right, what comes next has a solid footing. Registration complete — now we prepare for the distribution. 🔥📋🎁✨
