Round two of the groundwork. On 19 November 2025 our volunteers moved straight on to Tin Wah Estate in Tin Shui Wai to open registration for the 22 November distribution, working on the principle that nobody gets left off the list.
Registration only, in theory โ but the residents of Tin Wah Estate turned out in force, and a queue formed early. Our volunteers arrived in uniform and went straight into it: directing people, checking details, filling in forms, keeping order, all of it flowing.
With elderly residents coming through steadily, the volunteers became something closer to personal secretaries. Where a resident could not hear well or could not read, a volunteer would move in close and work through it in clear, gentle Cantonese, word by word, until the paperwork was done.
"No need to rush โ you're all registered. Come back on the 22nd for your package and we'll see you then." That kind of warmth turned a cold November day into something else entirely. Residents watching volunteers stay meticulous while working up a sweat gave LucaBridge a firm thumbs up for being both thoughtful and efficient. Tin Wah Estate spent the day full of anticipation.
Our sincere thanks to the team at Tin Wah Estate for their help and for hosting us so well, and our respect to every LucaBridge volunteer who served these residents with complete attention.
Registration done and everyone ready. Next stop, 22 November. ๐๐๐โจ
