๐ Today our environmental volunteers headed for the shoreline beside Tsing Lung Tau Pier. This stretch is rougher going than most โ the shore is covered in rocks of every size, which makes collecting litter considerably harder.
Our volunteers were not put off. Helping each other up and down, they searched methodically through the gaps between the rocks and pulled out plastic bottles, packaging, discarded fishing net and more, all washed in by the tide. A morning's work produced four heavy bags.
Hard going, but seeing the coast clean again made it worth it. Thank you to every volunteer who came. Let's keep doing our bit for the planet, and keep looking after our sea and sky. โจ
