On 10 December 2025 our volunteers took the supply run straight to Sing Fai Restaurant for another round of care package distribution โ a December greeting meant to warm both the stomach and everything else.
The team arrived in uniform and got straight into it. In no time the restaurant, inside and out, was stacked with 100 well-filled packages of everyday food and household essentials.
The volunteers divided the work between them, setting up the queue, keeping order and counting supplies with the kind of coordination that comes from doing this often. Word that LucaBridge was running a distribution at Sing Fai brought the regulars out early, and the place filled up. Volunteers handed the packages over in person, steadying anyone unsteady on their feet, and chatted away in warm Cantonese while they did it.
"It's turned cold โ take a package, build yourself up, and keep well." That, over and over, all afternoon. Watching the elderly residents take their packages with those easy, sunlit smiles, and hearing "thank you for coming all this way", left every volunteer restored, however sweaty and sore.
