When one part of the city is in trouble, the rest of it turns up. On 26 November 2025 a fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po. Our volunteer team activated its emergency response immediately and headed to the scene.
Behind our volunteers stood a group of businesses who backed us without hesitation, assembling 46 cases of water, 12 cases of Garden cakes and eight cases of Vitasoy in very short order and sending them straight to the site, for the affected residents and for the emergency crews working there.

Thank you for reaching into your pockets when the clock was against everyone. With food and drink from the bing sutt, the store and the shops, and with vehicles and logistics from the trading, transport and engineering companies, our volunteers were able to keep supplies moving into the hands of people who badly needed them.
The wind that night was bitter. But as residents took hot supplies and saw the line of support that LucaBridge and these businesses had put together, the reassurance in their faces cut through the worst of it. That safety net, woven from a dozen different directions, is Hong Kong at its best.
Thank you again to every one of these organisations, and to the LucaBridge volunteers who went straight to the scene the moment word came through and worked through the smoke without a word of complaint.
